Pleasantville Day

One Mile Fun Run and 5K Run

Each May, the Village of Pleasantville hosts "Pleasantville Day". A day which provides another opportunity for residents of all ages to come together and enjoy a day of fun and celebration in our lovely town. 

Event day registration begins at 7:00am

Warm-Up starts at 7:30am

One Mile Fun Run starts at 8:15am

5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00am

Family Fun Run 

The 1 Mile Fun Run brings out adults and kids 

who want to do a short distance run. The course takes participants winding up from Washington Avenue to Manville Road, then onto Great Oak Lane and finishing up on Washington Avenue. On the course there are water tables and all finishers get a certificate with age group placement and race time. Strollers are welcome and start at the back of the pack. 

5K Run

The starting line is on the corner of Washington Avenue and Edgewood Avenue. All runners will have chip-timed running bib. Prizes are awarded to first overall male and female finisher and first male and female finisher in each age group category.

** All Participants receive a free t-shirt. 

 

 

 

 

Graduate Lawn Sign Sale The Graduate Lawn Sign sale provides families and the entire Pleasantville community the opportunity to recognize the PMS and PHS graduation milestones. Signs are for purchase each May. 

Pleasantville P-Daddy Golf Outing 
An annual golf outing fundraiser which includes a light lunch, scramble format with fun challenges across the course. Following play is an elaborate cocktail party with silent auction, raffles and prizes. The event is hosted at the Pleasantville Country Club. Funds raised go to the Community Scholarship Fund of Pleasantville and the Pleasantville Fund for Learning. The annual event is planned in late September/early October each year.  




 

Rotary Club's  Annual Pancake Breakfast 

(High School Fall Homecoming Weekend)

For over 35 years the Rotary's Club's annual pancake breakfast has celebrated Pleasantville High Schoool and supported the Community Scholarship Fund.  The event is located at the Pleasantville Middle School Cafeteria.

It's a unique opportunity to meet and connect with residents of all ages. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, juice and coffee. Come out and show your Pleasantville Panther spirit and support the sports teams throughout the weekend.

December Gas A Thon 

Farrow's Shell Station donates a portion of fuel sales for the month to support the fund.
